Menu

At Emily Moon we strive to use only the freshest local produce to prepare our delicious daily menu. Our chef team meet every morning to choose the freshest produce available before designing the menu for the day, this menu includes dishes like our Peach Cider Braised Pork belly, Onion Samosa and Gooseberry Compote; Lamb Rack, Cherry Tomato Feullete and Thyme Red Wine Jus; Fresh Farm Ricotta Phyllo Bake, Honeyed Beetroot and Thyme; Oven Baked Line fish, Brussel Sprout Chips, Caper and Baby Potato Salad. Enjoy a fresh cocktail or a beautiful bottle of wine from the boutique estate wine list while appreciating spectacular riverside views, unforgettable sunsets and a large log fire in winter go without saying.

Home Grown

There is something particularly special about being able to walk into the garden and pick a few crisp leaves or pull a carrot or two from the soil. At Emily Moon we are fortunate to grow most of the fresh produce on your plate in our very own back yard and that which we do not grow on the property is sourced locally from organic farmers.

At this very moment we have a variety of lettuce types, Asian cabbage, Pak-Choi, Garden Peas, Broccoli, Brinjals, Baby Marrows, Carrots, Beet Root, Onions, Celery, Baby Corn, Spinach and a number of herbs growing in the garden. It’s Summer  and our gardens are ready to deliver a bountiful crop for us to prepare and you to enjoy.

drop-SSIMON’S BAR, LOCATED ABOVE EMILY’S RESTAURANT, is beautifully designed with vintage motorboat engines decorating the walls and in the centre is a wood–fire pizza oven that produces the best artisan pizzas in the Garden Route. Signature pizzas like our Buffalo mozzarella, marinated cherry tomato & spring onion or our famous Cuban styled Pulled Pork, baby onions, red peppers & rocket are as unique as the space itself. Most of our ingredients are home grown otherwise locally sourced. The Bar stocks beautiful Cape wines and our barman makes a mean cocktail to enjoy feet up, watching the sun set over the Bitou River.
