Imagine a breathtaking never ending view over wetlands, a winding river, gentle whispering reeds, and distant majestic mountain ranges - all these go towards making the most perfect venue for that very special day in your life - your wedding! Our restaurant Emily’s seats a maximum of 100 guests with a dance floor and the deck area around the pool is ideal for cocktails and canapés before the wedding reception. Our chef extraordinaire Chris will discuss and advise on menus which can be either plated or served on platters, a three course meal starting at R250 per head depending on your choice of food. Long baronial tables set with cream rose damask, white crockery, long stemmed glasses and an eclectic mix of chairs makes for an elegant and festive gathering. We can accommodate up to 60 around the pool for the service but for a larger number there are churches of every denomination in the village a mere few km’s away. Of course we have our magnificent beaches for that seaside service. Half the pool can be covered for extra seating or a dance floor. Our 8 beautiful lodges each decorated in their own individual style sleeping 18, one being a family room with four beds, is where the bridal party spend the night of the wedding, all with spectacular views completely private and steeped in luxury. The love story of Emily Moon and Harry Mallard can be felt in every corner and every beautiful treasure from Africa and India, which abound in every corner, has it’s own tale of mystery and romance – a truly magical place to celebrate the start of a new life .
